If you come to Midtown looking for a dive bar, drop by at Leon's Lounge - one of the dive bars that can actually pull off a Sidecar, Manhattan, Old-Fashioned, Lemon Drop and a Pimm's Cup. The bartenders here are legit and friendly and the cocktails are pretty amazing and delicious.

What a terrific place to find yourself with strangers! The bartender is fun and helpful and remembers your name. The beer is ridiculously cheap! They've got plenty of fun and games: darts, pool table, and a terrific jukebox. Plus, the clientele is a kooky mix and a maybe a little rough around the edges but they are all there for the same purpose -- a cold drink.

The interior can very accurately be described as "Lounge-y" now with the velvety chairs, interestingly snazzy decor and such. Very cozy and comfy, but still classy - what more can you ask for?
