Shoeshine Charley is oozing with coolness - an Elvix wall, creepy mice mannequins, christmas lights - just some of the factors that make this a favorite dive bar. Charley is an allegory of itself. Pure kitsch fashioned into a dive bar. It looks like a country dive bar that's been around FOREVER with its old 70s beer clocks, cheapish drinks, 70s pop music (disco, country, and rock), pop paraphernalia, and cohesively tied together by a "theme."

It's a funky, eclectic, vintage, dive bar. It's got tons of indoor seating where you can watch whatever local band play. There is a back room that no one ever seems to be in where you can play foosball or shuffleboard. Then there is an amazing HUGE outdoor patio that connects to the back of the other bars in the area. Strung up white lights, cool graffiti art work, plenty of places to sit, and awesome people all over the place.
